The MBS Technologies Optical Migration Manager is an application that controls and manages the migration of Content Manager objects from the IBM 3995 and other optical libraries to disk or higher capacity optical systems.

Flexible and Reliable

Our migration manager offers storage media flexibility for Content Manager.  In addition to supporting migration from slow, aging 3995 Optical Libraries to disk-based storage, the migration manager also supports platter consolidations and migration from existing optical systems to the IBM 3996 or other higher capacity systems.  

System administrators can migrate data by platter or by date range.  The actual migration can be scheduled for off-peak hours or run continuously in the background to ensure no disruption of daily business activities.
